Conference language

The official language of the conference will be English, which is also mandatory for the submitted papers for selection and final papers published in proceedings, according to the regulations of Springer Verlag, editor of the conference proceedings.

Submission Process

  • Scientific submissions

Scientific papers should present innovative methodological, technical or scientific results. These consists of a PDF (Word or LaTex) of 12 pages maximum. Scientific contributions can be accepted either for a 30min Contributed Talk or for the Poster Workshop.

The scientific papers accepted for a 30min Contributed Talk will be included in the conference proceedings. At this stage, the document must be re-submitted according to specific SpringerVerlag style (if not the style yet), which means a zip with a 12-page Latex file with separate images or a 12-page Word file including images (see more details here below).

  • Industrial & govermental submissions

The aim of industrial or governmental papers is to present good practices, project feedback or/and case studies. An industrial or governmental submission consists either of a 12-page (maximum) Latex or Word in PDF or of a 15-slide (maximum) PowerPoint in PDF. Papers of this category can also be accepted either for a 30min Contributed Talk or for the Poster Workshop.

Accepted industrial or governmental submissions in Powerpoint will be made available in PDF on the conference website and on flash drives given to all participants, and they can be part of the conference proceedings only if the concerned authors transform their PowerPoint format into a 12-page Word or Latex version according to the Springer Verlag style. The refereeing of such articles will be under the responsibility of the three co-chairs of the Program Committee , and will take place during the end of the selection process. Optional abstract pre-submission: 31 May 2015

Authors are invited to participate (on a voluntary basis) in a pre-submission scheme before the 31 May 2015. They can submit their names & affiliations with the topics, keywords & abstract of the contribution they intend to submit later in full paper under the same number.

Submission deadline of Full Paper for selection: 31 August 2015

All authors must submit their papers in PDF format through our electronic submission system EasyChair before the 31 August 2015. No other submission process will be accepted. They can, as mentionned previously, submit their paper as a 12-page Word or LaTex in PDF or as a 15-slide PowerPoint in PDF. Please respect the maximum number of pages.

Evaluation & Acceptance Processes

Two categories of submissions are available: scientific or industrial/governmental.

All papers have to be submitted through our electronic submission system "EasyChair". Each submission will be subject to at least two referee reports under the responsability of three co-chairs of the Program Committee.

Submitted papers will be accepted either for a 30min Contributed Talk or for the Poster Workshop.

Re-submission of Camera-Ready Versions of Selected Papers: 14 November 2015

After the announcement of the results on the October 14, 2015, the selected authors (i.e. whose full version of papers selected for a 30min Contributed Talk or abstract of papers selected for Poster Workhsop will both be published in the conference proceedings) will be called to re-submit a final version through a special track of EasyChair CSDM Asia 2016, mandatorily before the 14 November 2015. Please take reviewers’ comments into consideration and re-submit in the format for publication, compulsorily in LateX or in Word, plus its PDF version and the below copyright agreement to be filled, signed and attached on EasyChair while re-submission (For information: the editors of the Conference Proceedings are the 2 general chairs and 3 PC co-chairs, in alphabetical order of family names: Michel-Alexandre CARDIN, Saik Hay FONG, Daniel KROB, Pao Chuen LUI, Yang How TAN):

For authors of papers submitted in PowerPoint format (industrial contribution) and selected for the Poster Workshop or for a 30min Contributed Talk, they are invited to transform their papers into Word or LaTex format (1 page abstract for paper of Poster Workshop and about 12 pages for Contributed talks). And to re-submit before the 14 November 2015 (as requested above) if they wish to be part of the conference proceedings. Please find templates below to respect very carefully :

Publication of Proceedings

The conference proceedings will be edited by Springer Verlag in "Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing" series book with an ISBN number, indexed in EI, ISI and referenced by DBLP.
